Rigid compact urethane is a casting liquid material, two-parts room temperature systems, usually measured at equal volumes 1:1. The materials quickly cure at room temperature to a rigid Shore 73D solid.
Rigid compact urethanes have the high strength typical of more flexible materials. This means that the material can be trusted for thin delicate parts, as well as parts requiring a machine finish.
Rigid compact urethanes resins pour like water, so they will pick up the most minute detail. These systems are available in pure white, off white colors.
The quick gel time of our Rigid compact urethanes systems allows for rapid production turnover. The material can be painted, pigmented, filled with weight altering glass powder, bronze powder, rubber crumb, marble dust, to achieve a wide variety of weights, colors, and textures. The resins work beautifully with flexible compact urethanes mold making systems, and RTV silicone mold making systems.
