Flexible compact urethanes are a two part mold making systems made of liquid urethane rubber, cures at room temperature.
Each system has unique physical properties varying in strength, flexibility, abrasion resistance and hardness. This allows the user to choose the ideal system designed for their specifications.
Flexible compact urethanes are easy to use both in mixing and curing.
Most of the systems can be measured 1:1 by volume, and are cured at room temperature without the use of special heating elements. Materials can be hand-mixed in small quantities of up to one gallon at a time.
If you are a large producer, you may wish to take advantage of specially developed pumping systems which automatically blends the two components.
Flexible compact urethanes products are not appropriate for making molds of living tissue, human or otherwise, and are not FDA approved for use with edible materials. The materials reproduce the precise detail of the original master in: wax, epoxy, resin, plaster, gypsum, concrete, rubber, and more. It is excellent for use with urethane rigid casting systems.
This is the economical alternative to expensive silicone rubber, and unlike silicone can be mixed one to one by volume. The mold housing and master are assembled and coated with release agent.
Flexible compact urethanes cures overnight at room temperature into a flexible and resilient material. Once cured and separated from the master, the finished mold is ready to cast wax, resins, plasters, and other urethanes.
Packaging of Flexible compact urethanes is available in 20 kg kits
The materials are specially ordered by customer demand
