Eliminating or reducing the use of solvents is one of the key targets nowadays, to achieve these objectives two lines are developed: water-based products and concentrated products.
Water-based release agents are acqueous emulsions and solutions in which no alcohol or other organic solvents are present. They have already found an industrial use, namely the production of soft foams, self-skinned polyurethane with or without IMC, and RIM and RRIM.
